Shipping Policy

At Bourbon Eyewear, we want your order to reach you safely, quickly, and with as little hassle as possible. This Shipping Policy explains how we process, dispatch, and deliver orders placed through our online store.

1. Where We Deliver

Bourbon Eyewear currently delivers orders within South Africa only.

We do not currently offer international shipping, but we may expand our delivery areas in future.

2. Order Processing Times

Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days after payment has been successfully received.

Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding weekends and South African public holidays.

During busy periods, promotional campaigns, holidays, or high-volume sales periods, processing times may be slightly longer. We will do our best to keep you updated if there are any unusual delays.

3. Delivery Times

Once your order has been processed and handed over to our courier partner, delivery typically takes place within a few business days, depending on your delivery address and the courier’s delivery schedule.

If your order has not arrived within 7 business days after receiving your shipping confirmation, please contact us with your order number so that we can assist in tracking your parcel.

4. Shipping Fees

Bourbon Eyewear offers free delivery on online orders over R800 within South Africa.

For orders under R800, a delivery fee may apply. Any applicable delivery fee will be clearly displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase.

From time to time, Bourbon Eyewear may run promotional free-delivery offers, such as free delivery on all orders. These offers will apply only for the period advertised and may be subject to specific promotional terms.

5. Order Tracking

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking link or tracking details, where available.

Please use this tracking information to monitor the progress of your delivery. If you have any trouble tracking your order, you are welcome to contact us for assistance.

6. Delivery Address

Please make sure that your delivery address and contact details are accurate and complete when placing your order.

Bourbon Eyewear will not be responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect, incomplete, or outdated delivery information supplied at checkout.

If you notice an error in your delivery details after placing your order, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to assist, but we cannot guarantee that changes can be made once an order has already been processed or dispatched.

7. Failed Deliveries

If a courier is unable to deliver your order because no one is available to receive it, because the delivery address is incorrect, or because the courier cannot reach you using the contact details provided, the courier may attempt redelivery or return the parcel to Bourbon Eyewear.

Where an order is returned to us due to incorrect delivery details or failed delivery attempts, we may contact you to arrange redelivery. Additional delivery charges may apply where redelivery is required due to customer error or unavailability.

8. Delayed Deliveries

While we do our best to ensure timely delivery, delays may occasionally occur due to circumstances outside our control, including courier delays, public holidays, high order volumes, weather disruptions, strikes, road closures, or other logistics-related issues.

If we become aware of a significant delay affecting your order, we will make reasonable efforts to keep you informed.

In accordance with South African e-commerce requirements, orders will be fulfilled within 30 days unless otherwise agreed with you. If we are unable to fulfil your order because the product is unavailable, we will notify you and arrange the appropriate refund in line with applicable law.

9. Damaged, Incorrect, or Missing Items

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives.

If your order arrives damaged, incomplete, or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible with your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos where relevant.

If the product delivered is defective or incorrect, Bourbon Eyewear will assist in resolving the issue and will cover the reasonable return shipping costs where required.

10. Backorders and Out-of-Stock Items

If an item is marked as backordered or becomes unavailable after you place your order, we will process and ship the item as soon as stock becomes available, unless we contact you to make alternative arrangements.

If we are unable to supply the item, we will notify you and assist with the next steps in line with applicable South African consumer protection requirements.

11. Returns and Exchanges

Shipping related to returns and exchanges is handled in accordance with Bourbon Eyewear’s Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds Policy.

For exchanges, customers are generally responsible for couriering the product back to Bourbon Eyewear, unless the product received was defective or incorrect.
